Clinically, many blood lipid tests are performed, among which the most basic tests are total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C). In 2007, my country officially released the "Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Dyslipidemia in Chinese Adults," which established diagnostic criteria for hyperlipidemia suitable for Chinese residents (Table 2).
