Asparagus:

Health Benefits: Asparagus has a delicious and refreshing taste, can improve appetite and aid digestion, and is a high-end and valuable green food. It is rich in selenium, which can accelerate the decomposition of oxides in the body, inhibit malignant tumors, and effectively prevent breast cancer. Its dietary fiber is soft and palatable, can improve appetite, aid digestion, promote detoxification, and effectively regulate gastrointestinal function, preventing gastrointestinal discomfort that easily occurs during the course of illness. Asparagus also contains a relatively high amount of asparagine, aspartic acid, and other steroidal saponins. Asparaginase is a drug used to treat leukemia.

Asparagus contains rutin, vitamin C, and other components that can lower blood pressure, soften blood vessels, and reduce cholesterol absorption. The chromium in asparagus can regulate the concentration of fat and sugar in the blood, promote circulation and metabolism, thereby preventing the accumulation of fat and sugar in the body. Therefore, it can be used as an adjunct food for the treatment of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and hyperglycemia.

Remedies:
1. Hypertension, coronary heart disease: 25 grams of fresh asparagus, decocted in water and taken orally or cooked as a vegetable, twice a day. 2. Various Cancers: Take 25 grams of the solid substance from canned processed foods on an empty stomach every morning and before bedtime each night, either raw or cooked. One course of treatment lasts 3 months until complete recovery; do not interrupt the treatment.

◆Asparagus and Duck Feet Soup
Main Ingredients: 400g duck feet, 100g asparagus.

Additional Ingredients: A few goji berries.

Seasonings: 5g each of scallion segments, ginger slices, and salt; 10ml cooking wine; a little MSG and pepper.

Instructions:
1. Wash the duck feet, remove the claws, and cut into three sections; wash the asparagus, remove the roots, and cut into sections; wash the goji berries.

2. Heat oil in a pot, sauté the scallion segments and ginger slices until fragrant, add cooking wine and enough water to cover, bring to a boil, add the duck feet and asparagus, and cook until the duck feet are cooked through. Season with salt, MSG, and pepper, and add the goji berries.


◆Celery and Asparagus Juice

Main ingredients: 1 stalk of celery, 5 asparagus spears.

Additional ingredients: Lemon juice and honey, as needed.

Instructions: Wash the celery and asparagus separately, cut them into sections, put them in a juicer, add an appropriate amount of cooled boiled water and blend. Stir in lemon juice and honey to taste.
