(1) Upon waking in the morning, slowly transition from a lying to a standing position. Light morning exercises are beneficial, but avoid immediately increasing physical strain, especially running.

(2) On an empty stomach in the morning, drink something light, such as herbal tea or fruit juice.

(3) Throughout the day, it's best to rest lying down or sitting with your legs slightly elevated several times, for about 10 minutes each time. Relaxing on the floor or a hard wooden bed is very beneficial. For those who need to sit for long periods at work, stand up and move around a few times a day, for 3-5 minutes each time.

(4) When feeling stressed, avoid walking around the room. It's best to lie down for a while or simply sit with your legs slightly elevated for about 15 minutes.

(5) Eating while standing or walking is a bad habit that puts extra strain on the cardiovascular system. Always eat sitting down, and after meals, take a 20-30 minute nap lying down or sitting. Afterwards, avoid strenuous activities immediately.

(10) The increasing prevalence of hypertension among younger people necessitates that children adhere to a regular sleep schedule. Children, especially toddlers, should sleep (lying down) for no less than 8-9 hours per day, and should be ready to go to bed around 8:30 pm. A nap of one and a half to two hours can help protect their cardiovascular system from excessive stress.
